In the Russian market, in Shkodra, this melody of çiftelia and lahuta is heard every day.
It is Rexh Mehmeti, a street vendor, who, positioned on a street corner, shows his talent and at the same time advertises musical instruments in this original way.
He produces them himself, repairs them and sells them the çiftelina, sharkina and lahuta. The trader points out that the sounds of music attract foreigners who are initially curious and then buy them.
Serbia protected Lahuta in Unesco and Rexha calls it a robbery of our tradition.
