As of Saturday in Kosovo there are relief measures for protection from COVID-19.
However, the problem is again the traffic restriction schedule starting from 12 midnight. This is continuing to deter gastronomy workers from finishing work at 11 p.m.
“Everything must be completed in one hour, the cleaning of the bar, the calculations, the whole day must be completed, this is a lot of time. “I say that the schedule, or the curfew, is also affecting the mental health of people”, said Petrit Kllokoqi, gastronomy.
Due to the second and third shift workers, transportation insurance is also being proposed.
“While there is a restriction of movement, there should be transport for those who are employed in the shift and third and not to limit the services of carriers”, said Behxhet Shala.
The Office of the People’s Advocate on February 1 issued a legal opinion regarding the measures for protection from COVID – 19. With this report it was recommended to the Government of Kosovo to reconsider the measure of restriction of movement, further adding that it would be better strengthening of sanitary controls and the inspectorate, in order to assess the observance or not of the measures.
Despite this, although the measures were eased, the Government of Kosovo decided that the measure to restrict movement will remain in force, from 12 midnight to 5 am.
