The current situation in the incinerator of Fier has caused the members of the investigative commission for incinerators to go down to the field. Opposition MPs stressed that work on this incinerator has not started yet, although according to them the concessionaire has received the payments.
For Ermonela Felaj and the other socialist members of this commission, this incinerator is not a ghost, as claimed by the opposition, and this work is ready to process the waste of the municipalities of the Fier region.
This incinerator is in the testing phase and is expected to start its full operation within 45 days.
The waste of the municipality of Fier has been deposited here for a long time, while the current fields have been closed and rehabilitated, while the municipalities of Patos, Roskovec and Lushnja and within a short time the municipalities of Divjaka and Mallakastër are sending waste.
