Kozma Dashi, collector: A homage to the 102nd anniversary of the proclamation of Tirana as the temporary capital of Albania. I tried to present an exhibition based on postcards, to illustrate a virtual journey in the history of Tirana.
But who was the old center of Tirana, which consisted of a mosque, a bakery and a hammam.
Kozma Dashi, collector: It starts before the congress of Lushnja. The center of Tirana is presented, with the mosque of Sulejman Pasha Bargjini. And then the mosque of Ethem Bey, the plane tree of tabak, the bridge of tabak and so on.
This exhibition also features some of the most influential families in the life of the city, including Ali Erebara who was mayor during the years 194-1942.
Kozma Dashi: It is also an image for the people who have made history and contributed to this city, definitely also for the Toptani family which is hospitable.
The exhibition in the historical arch extends to the Italian occupation. And it continues to be open to the public in Tirana Castle.
