Two citizens in Kosovo have been sentenced to 30 days in prison, as they are charged with damaging graves or corpses.
It is suspected that on February 9, around 13:30, the citizens with initials MN and ER went with their car to the Infectious Diseases Clinic of UCCK in Prishtina to pull from there the dead body of the victim HK, and send him in Prizren, for the funeral ceremony by his family.
But the suspects got confused and took the lifeless body of another victim, with the initials.
The dead body of the victim ZD, around 14:30, was taken to the city cemetery in Prizren and handed over to the relatives of the victim HK, and his family buried him in the city cemetery in Prizren, thinking that it is the body of their family.
Later, they found out that the corpses were confused and that in the city cemetery in Prizren, the dead body of the victim ZD was mistakenly buried.
After realizing the confusion, .R., And MN returned to the Infectious Diseases Clinic and from there they pulled the dead body of the victim HK, and sent him to the city cemetery in Prizren
The above-mentioned suspects, around 18:00, paid 300 euros to several people to exhume the dead body of the victim ZD, and in the same grave, buried the victim HK
All this was done without the presence of the relatives of the victim HK, and without notifying the police officers. Afterwards, the exhumed body of the victim ZD was returned to Prishtina, reports KosovaPress.
