The Deputy Speaker of the Kosovo Parliament, Enver Hoxhaj, described the Prime Minister Albin Kurti as irresponsible, who did not pay due attention to the dialogue and foreign policy.
Invited to Top Channel’s Top Talk show, directed by Denis Dyrnjaja, he stressed that opportunities such as American support should not be left out.
“It is a high political cause to complete the state building of Kosovo by joining the UN. This is achieved by collaborating with the British, the Americans. When I see this great American attention, where Blinken sent a letter to Kurti saying that it is our position, he comes up with a list and says that our goal is to have mutual recognition, this opportunity should be used by Kosovo if it does not happen as much as Joe Biden will be in the White House, the world may have other tectonic movements in the geopolitical realm, Americans may have other foreign policy priorities, and we may remain an open topic in the Western Balkans. “It has happened that certain peoples lose such opportunities, we have an irresponsible, populist prime minister who does not trust dialogue and our effort is to support the state, to be in the service of the state.” said Hoxhaj.
Let us remember that Kosovo celebrated the 14th anniversary of independence the day before, while the heads of state wished and pledged for more work for the benefit of the citizens.
On the day when it was supposed that everyone together would mark the anniversary of independence, politics intervened again, where during the speech of Prime Minister Albin Kurti in the solemn session of independence, the opposition left the hall.
