Within the year, work begins on some important investments in neighborhood 18 in Durrës.
This was stated by the mayor of Durrës and at the same time SP candidate Emiriana Sako in the meeting held with the residents of these neighborhoods.
In this meeting, the mayor Sako was accompanied by the political leader of Durrës district Adrian Cela, the organizational secretary of SPA Blendi Klosi and the deputy Klodiana Spahiu. Mayor Sako stated that the projects that will be implemented in this neighborhood are the reconstruction of the facades of the palaces and their cladding aiming at energy efficiency, revitalization of the quarters between the palaces, lighting, greenery and construction of playgrounds for children.
Speaking in front of the residents, Sako said: “I come here as one of you, I am a woman and a mother who raises my children in this city, which we all love even better and more beautiful. In fact in the last two years we have focused more on reconstruction. The consequences of the earthquake were great, your neighborhood has also suffered damage. When we talk about reconstruction we are talking about a successful program, as a lot of work has been done. We have intervened in 405 buildings that we have reconstructed the common facilities and after a month the work starts in another 180 buildings. 16 new schools have been built, we have built two new neighborhoods from scratch, where that of Manza has been completed, while the neighborhood of Spitalla has started with the construction of the first block of buildings “.
Among other things, Sako said that we will continue with major projects, such as the Eco Park, which is nearing completion.
Regarding this investment, the mayor Sako said that: “together with the Prime Minister we have big projects, such as the one of the Eco Park, for which these days we are being tried because we removed the garbage and built a park with 1200 trees, why we eradicated the gangrene that was created there and we made sports fields for young people, this is said only by those who do not want the development of Durrës. Therefore, for all these projects and others that will come, we need your support, of women and girls, of young people, so that on March 7 we can ask for other projects for Durrës ”.
SPA organizational secretary Blendi Klosi in his speech said that major projects are transforming the city of Durres by turning it into a city with the greatest economic and tourist potential of the country. “The project of the tourist port, commercial port, Eco Park, etc., are projects that are giving Durrës other dimensions of development. We made a very good choice with Ani, she is a girl who studied abroad and chose to come back and contribute to the city. That is why we need your support, to be reconfirmed at the head of the municipality on March 6 and to continue the projects launched “.
