The mayor of Durrës and at the same time the candidate of the Socialist Party for the March 6 elections said in the meeting with the residents of Ishm that the investments that will be made in this area will further develop it, turning it into a favorite tourist destination.
Sako said that the administrative unit of Ishm has been part of the reconstruction program from the beginning and currently 265 individual apartments have been completed here together with Manza.
Referring to the reconstruction figures, Mayor Sako said: “We have distributed rent bonuses to families affected by the earthquake, 15 thousand reconstruction grants have been given, 16 new schools and kindergartens have been built and now about 8 thousand children and students study in facilities with European standards. We have had the maximum support of Prime Minister Rama for this process, with which we have gone to every house and neighborhood. He has been the main support of this process and with the volume of constructions that are being carried out in all administrative units of the municipality, it is like building a new Durrës from scratch ”.
After the reconstruction, Durrës is implementing several major projects, such as the tourist port, the commercial port in Porto Romano, etc., and soon the reconstruction of Ishm castle will begin.
Mayor Sako said that the municipality of Durrës has planned in this year’s budget the construction of the road in Fushë-Gjuricaj, which connects three villages and along with this investment, a new garden and nursery will be built in the village of Bize.
Mayor Sako has guaranteed the citizens that she will be at the service of all; the municipality will be at their disposal for any problems they have.
