From Rrogozhina, the mayor of Tirana, Erion Veliaj, in the capacity of SP political leader for the region, said that people should be judged by how much work they do, not how well they speak. Veliaj mocked the Commission of Inquiry for Incinerators when he added: “They say: You stole in 2047! As a start, 2047 has not come yet. How can we be guilty of a future that did not happen? ”
Veliaj stressed that the Democratic Party is against any good deed done in the country.
“Did you see this commission?” The mountain became pregnant and gave birth to a mouse! They say: You stole in 2047! As a start, 2047 has not come yet. How can we be guilty of a future that did not happen? Second, how could we continue to stay in the trash? In most Italian cities the price for waste treatment is 3 times higher than here. Luli’s price was also 30% higher. If Tirana is cleaner today, even cheaper, then it is a good thing that we stay up all day and all night, because we have nothing to do with the mud, nor the garbage, nor the pollution. To say that I love the pure, but just because you made me your opponent, I will spoil it, it does not work! To be angry with your neighbor, but if you see that he is cleaning the stairs, you say ‘good job. Thank you for making us sparkle ‘. You may resent the electrician, but when he brings you the light, you say ‘I resent you, but I can not take revenge. Thank you for enlightening us’. You may resent the digger, but if you pave the way to your house, you say ‘anger aside, but thank you for making my way’. You may resent the farmer, but if the farmer brings you quality food, bio, thanks to these aids, and your table has more food for less money, you will say to the farmer ‘Thank you!’. You may resent the policeman, but if the policeman catches the thief, if the policeman secures your life, if the policeman responds to the disaster, then you will thank him. You may resent the nurse, but if the nurse came to measure blood pressure, came to do the vaccine, you would say ‘our personal resentments aside, but you saved my life’. You may resent Edi Rama and our government, but for as long as he has served you, retaliate. “As long as he has been on standby, on March 6 he will vote for Edison, for Edin and for the Socialist Party”, said Veliaj.
