Thousands of Ukrainians have volunteered to defend their country and fight the invasion of Russia, including IT workers or builders.
To be more prepared, they have decided to attend basic training before leaving for battle.
The volunteer center in Lviv was filled today with young soldiers who had registered to join the territorial defense units. Some wore military uniforms, while others wore civilian clothes and backpacks.
“The story is happening right now. I do not want to be on the sidelines. I want to make history. Finally the world needs to know what is bad and what is good. We have the support of the whole world“, Said Vitali, a 35-year-old boss.
Vitali said he and 15 employees of his company had started weapons training five days before the Russian attack, to come to the aid of the Ukrainian army, which is facing Russian attacks.
