The political leader of the Socialist Party for the Tirana Region, Erion Veliaj, in the concluding meeting of the campaign for the local by-elections on March 6, has asked the citizens of Vora to vote for Blerim Shera.
It is very important, said Veliaj, who we choose to head the affairs and this is proving to us every day, not only the political situation in our country, but also international developments.
Addressing the residents of Vora, who will go to the polls on Sunday, Veliaj said that the vote for Blerim Shera is for the future of their family, which comes first for the Socialist Party.
“I remember the speech of the President of Ukraine in the Parliament – as Edi Rama did when he came to government, removing the photo of the president and formalizing the photo of Ismail Qemali – where he said to the deputies a very important thing:” I do not want to keep the photo my through offices. “I want you to keep a picture of your children, so that when you make a decision you do not say how the President loves the vote, but how my children would like the vote.” For all those who are Democrats, or those who may have gone to other parties like the SMI, which today are completely extinct, the question is: Will we vote for the historical leader who may have been left to us by inertia from the 1990s, or will we vote for our children? If we are going to vote for our children, here’s the children’s teacher! Blerim Shera is a teacher, principal, psychologist, child counselor. “We have to vote for the children and for what stood by the children of Vora even before he became mayor.” declared Veliaj.
He also called on citizens not to spend their vote on a lock, or a padlock. It is the first time, said Veliaj, that in Albania there is a bet on who will lose. “They should continue betting, because for them politics is a sport and therefore they treat it as a bet. One says, “I bet the last Luli comes out.” The other says, “I bet Saliu comes out”. Not only do they treat it as a sport and treat it as booty, but they also have the race to the end. We are clear! We are doing the competition who comes out first and it will be Blerim Shera, PS, number 2, our wonderful team and family here in Vora, “Veliaj closed his speech.
