19 points difference share Tirana with Partizan in this phase of Abissnet Superiore but no it does not make less beautiful or interesting the capital derby, the biggest match of Albanian football that will be played on Saturday at the stadium “Air Albania”.
The White and Blues leading the league after 23 weeks will seek continuity by being confirmed as the most fit team of the season even though the derby often resembles a match that is not related to the current form of each team.
Meanwhile, the 5-0 victory against Partizan gave Kukës another rhythm and the psychological aspect of the reds has already changed that Europe is closer to them from the championship, not only from the alternative of the Albanian Cup.
After a relatively long absence in past games, the fans in this pragderbi seem to have a great interest. Tickets have been on sale since Wednesday and so far about 10,000 tickets have been sold, which promises a large turnout of the two capital fans who have always been the icing on the cake of this showdown.
