Prime Minister Edi Rama started an explanatory tour with employees of various sectors for the Social Resistance Package, approved by the government on Saturday.
The Prime Minister also spoke to the employees of a flour factory in Tirana about the efforts not to stop the export of wheat.
“We are negotiating with Serbia to unblock quantities of wheat and flour blocked there for our businesses, and we are doing this based on the Open Balkans,” he said.
The Prime Minister stressed why the Social Resistance Package pays special attention to pensioners.
“36 million USD pension indexation and 30,000 ALL plus those who are lonely and disabled. “It is a breath not to feel with the noose in the throat”, added the Prime Minister.
Dalina Ibrahimaj, Minister of Finance and Economy explained the new way of taxing lower wages.
The entrepreneur of this flour factory gave this comment on the government package.
“Thank you for being with us this Sunday and taking a look at the basket products,” said the entrepreneur.
