Ninety children have been killed and more than 100 injured in Ukraine since Russia’s February 24 attack. This was stated on Monday by the Ukrainian Prosecutor General’s Office.
“The largest number of victims is in the regions of Kiev, Kharkiv, Donetsk, Chernihiv, Sumy, Kherson, Mykolayiv and Zhytomyr“, It is said in a statement.
The international news agency Reuters reported that it could not immediately verify the information.
Russia denies targeting civilians in what it calls a “special operation” to demilitarize and “denationalize” Ukraine.
