Ukraine’s youngest billionaire, 48-year-old Kostyatin Zhevago, has reportedly left the country aboard his superyacht following the announcement of new anti-oligarchy measures by the country’s president Volodymyr Zelensky.
The news brings the Ukrainian president one step closer to hitting the figures of oligarchs inside his country, as happened recently with mining tycoon Kostyatin Zhevago. British Daily Star says he left on his yacht unfortunately called “Z,” the letter already turned into the symbol of the Russian occupation of Ukraine.
At a time when many countries have banned air traffic from Russian vehicles, Dubai still welcomes passengers on Emirates FlyDubai ferry lines.
The development comes after reports that at least four Russian oligarchs have left Moscow for Dubai following a scathing speech by President Vladimir Putin.
The Kremlin leader had spoken of a “self-cleansing” of Russian society, according to a British report. The Telegraph.
Zhevago also appears to have fled to Dubai following Ukraine’s anti-oligarchic laws, although he has been in the country’s politics for 20 years as an independent.
He lost the race for deputy in the 2019 elections.
His yacht Z, is 65 meters long and has a maximum speed of 18 knots.
The Zhevago boat can hold 14 guests and needs 18 crew members.
magazine SuperYacht writes that Zhevago yacht has, among other things, a “body well-being center”, massage room, sauna and hair salon.
