Yesterday, around 13:00, near a restaurant in the neighborhood “Besëlidhja”, Lezha, citizen Admir Zogaj threw a grenade launcher in the direction of citizen Sokol Pepushi which exploded without causing damage to people.
Specialists for the Investigation of Crimes at the Lezha Police Station made the arrest in flagrante delicto of the citizen Sokol Pepushi 36 years old, resident in Lezha, and declared wanted the citizen Admir Zogaj 46 years old, resident in Manati, Lezha.
After this event, Pepushi left without notifying the Police and meanwhile work continues to capture Admir Zogaj.
The investigative materials were referred to the Prosecution at the Lezha Judicial District Court, for further actions, for the criminal offenses “Intentional Murder”, remaining attempted and “Illegal possession and production of explosive weapons and ammunition”, in charge of the citizen Admir Zogaj and “Failure to escalate the crime”, in charge of the citizen Sokol Pepushi.
