Chemical waste left in the former Korça knitwear have been reactivated as a result of temperatures and humidity endangering the lives of residents.
For at least 10 years in the former knitwear of Korça continue to release gases as a result of chemical reactions.
It is about the chemicals that were used in the dyeing department and that are scattered in this building outside any kind of safe packaging that would avoid their activation. As chemical reactions begin to occur smoke and gases that make breathing difficult begin to be felt immediately for the 10 families living in this building while they have not yet found a solution from the instances even though their health is endangered.
The release of such gases is not only pollution for the environment but above all it is very harmful to people whose houses are not even 20 m away and who live almost on these chemicals.
