After a prolonged and understandable silence from the March 6 elections, Ambassador Yuri Kim ignored the foundation of her state’s democracy “We, the People”. Yuri Kim entered the Albanian Parliament today for a meeting with the leader of the PD parliamentary group Enkelejd Alibeaj, but when he came out, through a statement he announced him in a ridiculous and absurd way as chairman of the Democratic Party. Yuri Kim today, as on other occasions, did nothing less than repeatedly violate the Vienna Convention as a diplomat, kicking in on the court ruling confirming the Democrats’ verdict in the December 11 Assembly, which restored the seat, the logo and the seal of the Re-establishment Commission – the only current collegial governing body of the Democratic Party. She also ignored the vote of voters clearly expressed on March 6. Yuri Kim confirmed today what he has predicted with other actions that he is in the service of Edi Rama’s games to weaken and hold the opposition hostage for as long as possible, commanding as president those who were rejected by a massive vote by the Democrats. Fortunately, Albanians have realized that the true values of the United States are not arrogance, diversion or dictatorship, but free voting and democracy. This was understood by the former president who left and will be understood by anyone who thinks of usurping the opposition against the will of the majority.
