Manchester United landed Tuesday night at Anfield against Liverpool in one of the Red Devils’ key matches to reach the seasonal target, qualifying for the champions next season.
Immediately, the rivalry between the two clubs of the biggest giants of the Premier League is known, as the reds this season have shown a fantastic performance while they have the opportunity to win four trophies like no other.
However, the fact that United have the opportunity to become an obstacle in this achievement of Liverpool, surprisingly does not motivate the captain of Manchester, Harry Maguire. A statement probably to reduce the pressure this from the defender, who adds that that 0-5 defeat in the first phase against Liverpool has been for him the lowest point of the season.
“I do not think it’s part of our motivation to stop Liverpool collecting four trophies this season. We have the motivation to go to Anfield and win the game by getting three points and making our fans happy. The fans have suffered along with us this season and have been numerous in numbers everywhere we have played. It would be a nice gift for them to win at Anfield, I think this is our biggest motivation.
“That 0-5 loss of the first phase against Liverpool has certainly been our lowest point this season, one of my lowest points in my career,” said Maguire.
