The bus, which was evacuating civilians from the eastern Ukrainian city of Popasna, was attacked by Russian forces.
According to Ukrainian authorities, Russian troops opened fire on the bus with 25 passengers.
A young man was injured, as well as an elderly woman with a disability.
“This evacuation was special and extremely dangerous. 22 passengers sat down. There was a 25-year-old boy who was injured in the back and legs and an elderly woman paralyzed on the stretcher on the floor“, Said the head of the Luhansk regional military administration, Serhiy Haidai.
The evacuation of civilians has encountered problems in recent days, while Russian airstrikes have focused on eastern areas.
For several days in many eastern areas it has been impossible to evacuate civilians who have remained stranded.
