Paris Saint Germain won the title of 10th champion in France, 4 weeks before the end of the championship and that is enough for the sports director, Leonardo to start thinking about the organic of next season.
A discussion that definitely starts from Kylian Mbappe, who has a contract until the end of the season and so far has refused the renewal, however Leonardo remains full confidence for a positive development in this regard.
“At Real they have three years to feel confident about taking Mbappe, but I prefer to wait and see. “The footballer himself has told us that he has not yet made a decision and we expect it to be positive for PSG, but we will let him decide in peace”, said the Brazilian.
Another concern that PSG executives have to solve is that related to goalkeepers, as Navas and Donnarumma do not intend to share matches with each other and only one of them should stay in the “Princes’ Park”.
“Navas is an excellent goalkeeper, just like Donnarumma, who was 22 years old and with zero parameters, against an operation not to be missed. “I understand their desire to always be headliners, so we will make a solution for the good of both,” said Leonardo.
Last but not least, it’s related to the future of coach Pochettino, who despite rumors, still seems to enjoy the support of the Brazilian leader.
“Pochettino still has a one-year contract with PSG and we are satisfied with the work he has done. However, at the end of the season, we will sit down to discuss our objectives “, said Leonardo.
