U.S. police in Polk County, Florida, said yesterday that dozens of people had been arrested as part of an infiltration operation against sex predators against children, human traffickers and prostitutes, some of whom were Disney network officials and a former U.S. judge.
The multi-day operation had started on March 8 and resulted in 108 arrests, according to press release of the sheriff’s office.
“The arrest of a human trafficker and four predators against children made the operation worth the rent. “Where there is prostitution there is exploitation, disease, malfunction, broken families,” said Sheriff Grady Judd.
During their operation detectives uncovered online prostitution notices identifying their users and sexual or manipulative communications with children.
“Xavier Jackson, 27, worked for Walt Disney and sent inappropriate photos and messages to a detective claiming to be a 14-year-old girl,” said Judd, adding that he had been charged with three counts of child abuse and communications. illegal, according to the CBS News network.
Detectives had communicated online with the suspects before they met and after receiving evidence they were arrested.
Judd said Daniel Peters, 66, had been a judge in Cook County and was arrested for inciting prostitution.
