Chinese hackers used a spy code developed by the National Security Agency (NSA) for their “operations”.
As experts from the Israeli film “Check Point Software Technologies” explained, some parts of the malicious software code “Jian”, which were programmed by Chinese hackers, are identical to those developed by the US security agency NSA in 2017 .
According to this research company, “Jian” was created again in 2014, and two years later the mysterious group of hackers Shadow Brokers was formed.
They released the NSA tool to exploit a security flaw in the Windows operating system, enabling WannaCry ransomware attacks in more than 150 countries around the world.
Yaniv Balmas, one of the leading researchers of the Israeli company, said that “Jian” was actually “a kind of imitation, a Chinese copy” of this NSA vehicle.
The Chinese embassy in Washington refused to respond to Reuters’ request for comment, and the NSA did the same.
It is still unclear how the Jian program was used, but a document released by Windows last year said it was linked to the Chinese organization Zirconium, accused of piracy of organizations and individuals linked to Joe’s presidential campaign. Biden.
