Pep Guardiola in the “seventh heaven” after the triumph of Manchester City for the second year in a row in the Premier League and for the fourth time in the last five seasons. With the Spaniard on the bench, the Citizens have won half the titles. At the end of the crazy challenge to Aston Villas, Pep, while embracing one of his co-workers, could not hold back his tears.
For Guardiola, this is not the time to maintain modesty.
“We are legends. When you win the Premier League in this country four times in five seasons, it happens because these guys are very special. We will be remembered. Winning at home, in front of your fans, is the best. “The moment we equalized, we had the feeling that very soon we would score the third.”
Guardiola could not leave without mentioning Liverpool, but gave everything throughout the season.
“The greatness of our success is related to the greatness of our rival. I have never seen a team like Liverpool in my life. I have no energy or desire right now to think about next season right now. We are champions again. “
