The director of the Property Treatment Agency, Jonida Baci, was fired without a fuss a few days ago.
However, the Minister of Justice Ulsi Manja has decided not to pass it in silence, but to open the curtain and talk about the suspicions of corruption in this institution.
Ulsi Manja: Top officials are suspected of misappropriation, there are former owners who have the document of return of physical and financial compensation of the property and are not compensated. They are contacted by realtors and the situation is resolved immediately.
In this way, the highest officials of the property treatment agency are reported to the SPAK by the anti-corruption unit.
Ulsi Manja: There are former owners who wait for years, there are others who are compensated from one to 17 days and when I say official I mean the highest.
And on this occasion, Minister Ulsi Manja took a step back from the attacks of a few days ago against SPAK.
Ulsi Manja: We have confidence in SPAK in less than two years of life, it has the confidence as institutions in Europe.
