From the Job and Skills Fair in Durrës, Prime Minister Edi Rama illustrated with these figures his long-standing position that there are jobs but no professionals.
Edi Rama: Only in this square, where there are 63 employers, there is a demand for 1500 employees. So in the 63 companies represented here, there is a space for employment and a need for employment for 1500 people. Meanwhile, in the space outside this fair, from the Regional Directorate of Employment here in Durrës, there are 600 other vacancies made available to all those who seek employment.
The Prime Minister also spoke about the fruits that are giving increased attention to vocational education.
Edi Rama: Today we currently have about 20 thousand students enrolled in vocational schools, as is the number of 6600 unemployed people who have attended vocational training courses in our vocational training centers during 2021 and who in a significant part then have been trained and have possible to be employed.
Prime Minister Rama followed in the beach area of Lalëz the continuation of the national cleaning plan, for a tourist season with clean beaches throughout the coastline.
