Prime Minister Edi Rama was honored with the prestigious “Joan Ganz Cooney Global Leadership Award” in New York during the annual Sesame Workshop dinner, for the assistance that Albania gave to the Afghans.
Albania was one of the few countries that opened its doors to Afghans who wanted to leave the war.
