The candidate for President of the Republic will resign today from the management of the General Staff and then the current President Ilir Meta will resign.
Taulant Balla, said that the solution has been considered if Meta does not sign.
“The candidate has submitted his request to resign from duty so it is an important aspect but in the relevant legislation the law on the Armed Forces the military must resign before being appointed or elected. This procedure will include within the next hours the current president who must make the release. This I think should not be the next battle. We have also thought of a way out if there is a stalemate with the president“, Said Balla.
