If she were offered the presidency, Majlinda Bregu would reject it, and even this story is very funny for her.
Tonight on Top Story, the Secretary General of the Regional Cooperation Council, Majlinda Bregu, said that every time governments are formed, her name was curved, but this time it was for the presidency.
She said that a proposal from the SP for the presidency would not work, but nevertheless thanked the socialist colleagues who had proposed her name,
Meanwhile, those who were supposed to be rivals also mentioned the name of the president of the republic.
This was one of the beautiful stories that could have had the title of Shakespeare, Too Much Noise for Nothing. Usually I have had the misfortune that whenever governments are formed, my name is curved. In this case it was the curvature of the name for president, but you are one of those witnesses who knows how much I laughed .. you were safer than me. And what I said on the phone, we’ll talk, have a coffee and laugh at this story together. And here we are, we have not drunk coffee yet, but we are laughing. And there is no chance for another political process, when you asked me if you are in the DP anymore.
In countries like Albania, logic feels foreign.
It never occurred to me at any moment to be President or what post would this country have as a proposal from the SP.
Would you not have accepted it?
No, it did not suit me ..
So you would have said no?
Yes. And here I want to thank all those socialists who have proposed my name. To be honest I never asked which of you or who said Yes or No. I told all the kind friends who were harassing me the same thing.
In a way you gave an opinion on the current government, nicely but you gave it.
I do not believe this is a big secret. Many of the socialist colleagues also like the fact that they have to manage all the powers themselves because there is a need for ventilation. Plus man also needs debate, controversy, not to be afraid that someone of yours will not always come out and do the misery, or do it even today.
