“There are no such scenarios in the police academy that they would have practiced,” the Vermont police commander said in a statement after the ridiculous situation.
An angry father in Vermont, USA has been recorded on camera shaking the excavator basket violently at two police officers who were trying to arrest his son.
Officers had gone to Wayne Tallman’s home in the town of Hardwick last week to arrest his 24-year-old son Brandon Tallman, in connection with a physical conflict and burglary, police said.
But as they tried to handcuff his son, Tallman climbed into the excavator steering cab and began to set it in motion.
Police car camera footage shows the father terribly shaking the excavator arm and basket towards police officers as they struggled with young Brandon outside his home.
Cops are seen avoiding the big machine as they hold Brandon to the ground.
“There are no such scenarios in the police academy that they would have practiced,” the Vermont police commander said in a statement after the ridiculous situation.
Consequently Tallman withdrew from the resistance and was arrested for assaulting the officer and resisting arrest.
Tallman’s wife, Amy, also intervened by removing police officers from her son, and received a warning for obstructing the work of the police officer.
