The President of the Albanian National Olympic Committee, Fidel Ylli in an interview on the show Top Story on Top Channel commented on the clashes with the AFF.
“I told him I want to come to Tirana to sign an agreement protocol that Italy is the best lawyer in Albania and he asked me do you still have these quarrels that you had? No, we do not have them, we do not have any quarrels, the Federation has it with itself, it has lost the trials, it will lose them. To be sued by someone is not bad, it shows that there is diversity of opinion, we are not like the bey of the village who just hands up so all ‘yes man’. there are debates here because we are not a federation, we have many federations, there are diversity of opinion, there are different policies for different federations, someone for volleyball, someone for basketball, someone for individual sports, there are debates, debates should not be in our office which lead to the commotion “, said Ylli.
