The abolition of the right to abortion in the US has sparked debate among the guests on the show “Top Story” tonight.
Biologist Elona Gjebrea argues that girls and women should decide for themselves about their body, while Pastor Akil Pano considers abortion a murder.
Gjebrea: I do not think that abortion is a good solution, but in the conditions that the woman will decide for her life, after listening to the advice that the law has
forefront: Where is the border where he has to decide between life and her and the life he has inside?
Gjebrea: For a reason she decides. Albanian law, for example, allows him to have a period of counseling, the doctor is obliged to explain all the risks, the consequences that it brings, to advise the girl and the woman.
Kulluri: Let us not forget that he is a being in the womb, let us not speak as a materialist
Gjebrea: But why should the doctor decide by force and in the meantime the woman and the girl have no right to decide, to decide for her life.
Kulluri: The being that is in the womb of a mother, is matter or man
Pano: this is another discussion, it is a big question
Gjebrea: Of course it is not good to lose a life. On the other hand, we need to clarify where the line is between the rights a woman has and the force or violence that a law gives that does not oblige her to have a solution.
Pano: If after each panelist, we hear arguments against from Mrs. Gjebrea, it falls to them that there will be twice as much time from each of us
Gjebrea: I will listen to you all, no problem
Pano: The issue is freedom, right, philosophical perception of life and the world, are concepts related to functionalism, as long as a baby in the embryo can complicate my life…
