A passenger plane reportedly made forced landings by an out-of-control cat that had entered the cockpit. The plane was flying to Doha in Qatar, but the pilot was forced to return to the Sudanese capital Khartoum.
Local media reported that the cat was showing ‘aggressive and nervous’ after entering the cockpit before boarding the plane.
The shy animal had resisted several attempts by the staff to catch him, and even attacked the captain, wrote the local network Al-Sudani.
The Sudanese flight of Tarco lines had taken off over the weekend from Kartoum International Airport and had flown for about 30 minutes before the incident started. The chaos caused on board had made the pilot decide to turn back.
According to reports, the cat is believed to have climbed on board without being distinguished from others during cleaning or maintenance checks.
