After three months and five repetitions of voting, Shaip Kamberi has managed to secure a seat in the Serbian Parliament.
After the certification of the results, Kamberi first met with Serbian President Aleksandër Vucic, according to him, the meeting was entirely formal.
Kamber’s demands were oriented in terms of the rights of the Albanians of the Presheva Valley.
Shaip Kamberi will be the only Albanian deputy in the Assembly of Serbia, while adding that he is working to reach a coalition to form a parliamentary group.
Since the parliamentary elections of April 3, Kamberi has been fighting for a seat in the Assembly. The numerous repetitions of the voting in Tërnoc i Bujanoci that came due to the complaints of the party led by Ivica Dacić prolonged the process of obtaining the mandate of the deputy for Shaip Kamberi.
