A “savvy” robbery duo robbed a Swiss tourist in Italy of his watch, only to return it shortly after realizing it was a cheap replica of the luxury model.
Security camera footage shows two tourists on the evening of July 17 in Piazza Trieste e Trento in Naples, when the robber at gunpoint asks one of them to hand over his watch.
A few minutes later another accomplice appears and turns back the clock, apologizing to the terrified tourist.
The unusual event took place at Monidee Café, whose owner said the thief returned the watch as he believed it was not worth the effort as it was not an original Swedish Richard Mille model. CNN .

The robbers thought the watch was a model worth about $300,000, said local official Francesco Emilio Borrelli.
“I have long denounced the problems with criminality in this square, it is one of the most unsafe places in the city when it should have been the opposite,” he told CNN.
“Knowing the law, they sent another to turn the clock back, because they know that in bars with security cameras, the images are recorded,” he added.
The involved tourist stayed to finish his drink and ultimately wasn’t too shaken by the experience.
