During the last five years, PSG has shown weakness in terms of strength, which has been decisive in the failures in the Champions League.
The eliminations like the one by Manchester United at the “Parc des Princes” (2019) or the one this year at the “Bernabeu” in front of Real Madrid have been the cases of a team that, despite the unconditional investment by the Sheikh from Qatar, still does not know how to withstand the advantages in the strongest continental competition.
According to the information of “L’Équipe”, the Parisian team is thinking of including a psychologist in the first team to avoid cases like that of “Bernabeu” in March. His job will be full-time and he will accompany the team to training sessions, promoting the team’s collective spirit. To this we must also add a nutritionist that the club wants to hire to check the physical condition of the players.
With a daily psychologist at the club, PSG believe they can become stronger in the Champions League. More than a decade after Al Khelaif’s arrival in the French capital, the club have yet to win the much-anticipated European Cup, the only title missing from having won everything in French football.
