The Ministry of Health of Kosovo announced that during the last 24 hours, ten new cases of coronavirus have been registered, and 14 patients have been cured. The new cases emerged after testing 2,274 samples.
The Ministry of Health announced that there are currently 324 active cases of coronavirus in Kosovo. In terms of vaccination, 2,981 vaccines against coronavirus were given within 24 hours.
Since the start of the vaccination campaign in Kosovo in March, 1,643,382 doses of the vaccine have been delivered nationwide.
As of Tuesday, December 10, 772,105 citizens have received both doses of the vaccine.
In Kosovo, all persons over 12 years of age have the right to be vaccinated. They can choose one of the vaccines in use in Kosovo: the Pfizer / BioNTech vaccine and AstraZeneca.
The epidemiological situation in Kosovo is estimated to be calm, unlike the region and Europe which are currently facing a new wave of infections.
