Albanian rapper Don Johnny recently gave an interview to Radio Jam FM in Berlin, Germany.
Starting the interview with an apology for his perhaps a bit lame English, the rapper from Drenica spoke generally about this year, which has been quite successful for his career.
The rapper, whose real name is Jonathan Isufi, was asked by the presenter of the show about the statement of the Iranian-German comedian, Enissa Amani, who has publicly reacted to a German MP calling him “racist”.
She now risks up to 40 days in prison, because she refuses to pay the fine of 188 euros, with which she was sentenced for her statements, reports Telegrafi.
Since the racist statements of the AfD MP were made for Albanians as well, the rapper of the hit “Cocaine” said that his attitudes are wrong.
“Politicians should support their people and not work against them. It does not matter that I am Albanian, his attitude is wrong. It is not true that Albanians are thieves. Albanians also belong to Germany. They are big investors, they have construction companies, they work in construction companies, in health institutions, in banks, etc. I think his opinion has no value “, said Don John.
The artist has talked about his life, as he has confessed that he likes shooting with a gun, especially with a Kalashnikov, and that is why guns are part of some of his songs.
