A teenage girl loved and loved by all who knew her has been found tragically dead in a lake near the bar where she was celebrating Christmas in Wales, Britain.
A 31-year-old man has been arrested on suspicion of murder after Lily Sullivan’s body was found early Saturday morning.
Witnesses testified that she had a heated argument with a man at the party she was attending, after which she left without being told by the man.
Police are studying security camera footage to find out about the conflict the late Lily had with her older husband at the Christmas party.
Her friends had taken to social media to find out the location, and police had shared a photo of the victim in hopes of helping her.
The girl was wearing a white blouse and jeans with torn knees, white waistband and black boots.
Detectives are looking to talk to anyone who saw the teen on Friday night.
Her mother Anna was reportedly “devastated” by the loss of her only child a week before Christmas.
Family friend Byron John said: “Lily was a sweet and loving young girl, educated and mature enough for her age. She had life before her but what happened is horrible. “Her mother Anna adored him, she was the only child, they were very close.”
Police said the 31-year-old arrested for the case remains in custody.
