At least 51 immigrants have lost their lives after being trapped inside a locked truck, which was found abandoned in Texas.
Local authorities have stated that so far there are two Mexicans indicted for the tragedy by the US Federal Court.
During the investigation, the identity of the two persons related to the event was ascertained, whereupon their arrest became possible.
Suspected as an accomplice for the tragic event is also a third person, who was driving the truck but has been in the hospital since Tuesday.
According to Reuters they lost their lives due to lack of air, water and high temperatures, as the truck was transporting them without the minimum possible conditions.
The incident marked the largest loss of life recorded by a human trafficking attempt, while the migrants who lost their lives are 39 men and 12 women, most of them Mexican nationals.
