ISIS militants had posted a vicious poster for the Christmas holiday with the beheading of the Christmas Elder and death warnings for the buyers of the festive season, writes the British tabloid The Sun.
A masked militant was portrayed with the bloody knife in his hand and the severed head of the Christmas Elder on the other.
ISIS and its jihadist supporters have been at peace since the fall of their caliphate in Syria and Iraq in 2017.
But that should not have softened their calls for assassinations by the remaining fanatics in the Arab and European world.
The latest assassination call is a continuation of the bloody videos they often posted at the time of the conflict.
The poster shows the beheaded Christmas Elder, with the caption: “We are sending a message to our brothers in Europe, America, Australia, Canada, Russia and other countries of unbelievers and traitors.”
“We tell you brothers to take revenge on our brothers and sisters who have been killed and captured by these poor people.”
“Attack the citizens of the countries of the crusade coalition, kill with knives, press with a machine, detonate bombs and kill with bullets.”
The development comes as a British man who has previously fought for ISIS said that “the group is developing back into the beast to attack the West.”
Macer Gifford from London fought in Syria in 2015 for the Islamist group alongside Kurdish forces.
He told the network Express.co.uk“I believe that ISIS will develop. all terrorist groups fit well. We have seen that happened before with Al-Qaeda “And now ISIS wants to prove that they can resist.”
The group is gathering strength and is reported to have established strongholds in countries such as India, Congo and Mozambique.
