Sixty people have lost their lives as a result of the intervention of security forces in the protests organized in Sudan with the demand for the establishment of civil rule, since October 25, 2021, when the army took power.
The Sudanese Central Committee of Physicians said in a statement that two people in the city of Umdurman and one person in the Bahri region lost their lives today as a result of shootings by security forces in demonstrations against the military coup.
The statement said that the number of confirmed deaths since October 25, 2021 has reached 60.
Security forces interfere with tear gas and noisy bombs, as well as ink and pressure water to demonstrators who came to the streets in many parts of the capital with the call of resistance committees.
Ahead of the demonstrations, Sudanese authorities closed bridges leading to the capital and restricted access to telephone and internet.
