Sali Berisha returned to the headquarters of the Democratic Party, a day before the January 8 protest, to guarantee that tomorrow will be a peaceful organization of the Democrats, but certainly with the sole purpose of removing Basha from the headquarters.
Former Prime Minister Sali Berisha guaranteed that no employee of the building will be affected, as the Democrats said, they have the problem only with Lulzim Basha.
Berisha said, among other things, that the opening of the headquarters doors is also a problem.
“For several days now, Albanians have been following developments worthy of Kafka’s novels, or Garcia MArkez, the scenes of a man who goes from scandal to scandal, from shameful acts, to others just as shameful. A man who proves that he has not left even a small particle of moral and civic integrity. Can anyone imagine that a new former leader would end his career instead of submitting the verdict of 44 thousand members of his party
It has filled the headquarters with criminals, who carry on their shoulders murders, trafficking, serial acts to punishable extremism.
In this case, I want to clarify, every citizen, that our goal is no longer to make an office or a chair, or a room, but to apply the basic principle on which free societies and organizations are built, free places, has to do with the principle that the majority decides, in the position of the deputy Basha, it becomes clear that he as a minority seeks to rape the majority, to take its building to the majority by treating them as if he has personal property.
So we are dealing with a fundamental principle of democracy, and de facto a criminal attempt to eradicate political pluralism to protect individuals who have no political or human morality. I invite today all the members of the Democratic Party, 44 thousand of them, all to unite to take over their house and turn it into a house of freedom in a peaceful protest, a major event of our major revolution, I guarantee the employees of this building that the protesters have no hatred for them, stay calm, the only problem is opening the doors, and of course the release from the Basha hostage. “Tomorrow I invite all PD deputies to be here with their members”, said Berisha.
