Analyst Kreshnik Spahiu in a live link on Top Talk show on Top Channel commented on the official visit of the President of Turkey, Recep Tayyip Erdoğan exactly on the day of the death of National Hero Gjergj Kastriot Skënderbeu.
He described Prime Minister Rama as a globalist leader, while President Ilir Meta as avenger, given the latter’s non-inclusion in the agenda of his Turkish counterpart.
“We have Rama as the globalist prime minister and President Meta as the avenger who with a gesture at the funeral of Skanderbeg, took revenge on Erdogan, who did not prefer to put him on the agenda in a bilateral meeting. Not coincidentally, he is not the first president to avoid Meta from the meeting. We must share the patriotism of our president with illegitimate reasons and motives which are not democratic at all and aggravate Albania-Turkey relations. “, said Spahiu.
Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan is on Monday for an official visit to Albania, his first for 2022.
He attended the handover ceremony of 522 key flats in Kurbin, rebuilt with Turkish government funding, following the November 26, 2019 earthquake that shook the country. During this meeting, seven agreements were also signed between the Turkish and Albanian governments.
