The Lushnja Bar Association announced a boycott of court proceedings if the decision to close the first instance court is implemented.
The head of this chamber, Kozma Jano, says that the amalgamation of the court in Lushnje means more expenses at the expense of the citizens to attend the trials in Fier or Tirana.
The transfer of the criminal and civil court to Fier will take place after the new map of Albanian justice.
Lushnja and Tirana are designated to have an administrative court in their territories. Despite this, the Lushnja Bar Association calls on all interest groups to unite to oppose the new map of the division of the judiciary.
