The Lushnja Chamber of Advocates announced a boycott of court proceedings if the decision to close the first instance court is implemented.
Some of them have also discussed with representatives of civil society seeking broad popular support.
The head of this chamber, Kozma Jano, says that the amalgamation of the court in Lushnja means more expenses at the expense of the citizens to attend the trials in Fier or Tirana.
The transfer of the criminal and civil court to Fier will be done after the new map of Albanian justice.
Lushnja and Tirana are determined to have an administrative court in their territories. Despite this, the Lushnja Bar Association calls on all stakeholders to unite to oppose the new map of the division of the judiciary.
