The door of the PD headquarters was locked for a few moments but opened with the arrival of the Re-establishment Commission.
A few moments after the members of the Re-establishment Commission, former Prime Minister Sali Berisha arrived at the PD headquarters.
In his speech before the media he said:
“I came here to express on behalf of the PD Re-establishment Commission the most fervent greetings, the most boundless gratitude to the heroes of January 8, who in a historic mission, with the courage, wisdom, restraint, composure that characterizes a democratic majority, proved to the Albanians that Lulzim Brava is today an equally savage enemy, an equally cruel face to and for the Albanian Democrats, I came here today to thank those tens of thousands of protesters who came and gathered from all over Albania, who in a historic mission of defending the political pluralism of the basic principle of majority rule over the minority, sacrificed and left after the uniformed drug gangs used toxic quantities of gas against them and that despite these, they as it turned out, the armored doors hapen.
Our presence here is a commitment that nothing can hinder and stop the consolidation of political pluralism in Albania. Nothing can stop the predominance of the will of the majority in this country, a political force and then the whole society that nothing can stop this peaceful revolution in achieving its historic objectives.
I also want to express my solidarity, unlimited gratitude to those Democrats who were arrested last night with the lists coming out of what the Albanians are saying no Lulzim po Lulzi in a collaboration with the drug police of Edi Rama, last night after the end of the protest the lists were formulated and were arrested, the democrats were detained because we had not committed absolutely any act for which they want to be held responsible. This is another shameful story of Lulzim Brava, of his cooperation as a tool of Edi Rama. “
