The Democratic Party has officially introduced the candidate for mayor of Shkodra, Xhemal Bushati, unanimously proposed by the branch structures.
Bushati’s presentation was made by the deputy chairman of the Democratic Party, at the same time the political leader of the region, Enkelejd Alibeaj, accompanied by the deputies of Shkodra and Lezha, as well as the chairman of the branch of the Democratic Party of Shkodra.
In his speech, Alibeaj praised the figure of candidate Xhemal Bushati, saying that it is the right choice for Shkodra.
“The road is difficult with ups and downs. We have often erred, but we have never strayed from the values of the Democratic Party. The presentation is what awaits us on March 6th. It is a challenge and a sacrifice. The challenge is moral. We as the Democratic Party have had even more difficult times than these, but we have succeeded, as we will succeed this time as well. The Democratic Party has the political fabric to face these challenges, especially here in Shkodra.
Yesterday I was in Lushnje, but the question at the end was: What does Shkodra say? This is the value, the story that Shkodra has for the Democratic Party. In these 30 days, the most important thing is to knock on the door of every Shkodra resident with the utmost honesty. Then the guarantee of life is Xhemal Bushati, the good man, the honest and respected man. History will never forgive us for this fortress of the Democrats to fall into the hands of the left. Shkodra belongs to the democrats and will remain to the democrats “- tha Alibeaj.
While Xhemal Bushati, who will run in the March 6 elections for the municipality of Shkodra, thanked the Democrats for the trust they have given him and for him this is a responsibility. He also expressed confidence that on March 6, the Municipality of Shkodra will be won by the Democratic Party.
“Mirdita to all democrats, members of the Presidency and MPs! I took this responsibility only from you. I feel proud and very responsible for the trust you have given me. I thank you and all the citizens of Shkodra who are supporting me by sms at any moment. We are the Democratic Party of Shkodra and together we will win the Municipality of Shkodra.
This to me is a lot of responsibility. We will all work together for the values of this city. I have opened the doors of the Municipality of Shkodra even when others have closed them. Therefore, I guarantee you that the doors will be open only for the citizens of Shkodra and on March 6 I am very confident that we will win “ – said Xhemal Bushati.
