Another new health center has been completed as part of a nationwide health center rehabilitation program.
The Minister of Health and Social Protection, Ogerta Manastirliu and the MP of the area, Erion Braçe have seen closely the new health center Këmishtaj, completed within the rehabilitation program of 300 health centers, where he stated that the program of 300 health centers will continue with the second stage.

During the visit to the Këmishtaj Health Center in Divjaka, Minister Manastirliu stressed that vaccination will be the key word for this year as well, noting that the Council of Ministers has approved the new contract with the company Pfizer for 2022.
“We have just approved in the Council of Ministers the new contract with the company Pfizer for 1 million doses of vaccine during 2022 and another 500 thousand optional doses, if needed, which also includes vaccination for children. We will continue to ensure the availability of vaccines in all health centers. We have applied more than 2.6 million doses of vaccines to date. We are still working hard to intensify vaccination coverage in the youth age group. Therefore, an appeal and even more dedication of our health team will be needed to increase the vaccine coverage in the youth age group. But on the other hand we must continue with the booster doses in the age group +60 years, especially those who have chronic diseases and they are more endangered, because vaccination saves lives “, said Manastirliu.
