The counting of votes for the selection of the candidates of the PD Re-Establishment Group for the by-elections of March 6 has ended in Dibër, Durrës and Vora. Rrogozhinë and Lushnje.
Durrës Democrats elected Ardian Muka, who is running for mayor. In the primary of Durrës voted 1546 members, where Muka received 1162 votes, while Silvja Gjepali 373 votes, while 11 votes were invalid.
Out of 713 voters in Debar, Premtim Kryemadhi emerged victorious with 424 votes, followed by Dafina Muda with 121 votes and Behar Dema with 158 votes. And 10 votes turned out to be invalid.
Vora chose Lulzim Vrana as a candidate for mayor.
Elton Bano won the primary in Lushnje, while in Rrogozhina he won Hekuran Xhani.
From the preliminary data, it results that the turnout was even higher than in the referendum of December 18, 2021.
The Re-establishment Commission opened the voting at 8:00 for the primaries in the six municipalities, Durrës, Vora, Rrogozhina, Shkodra, Dibra, Lushnja, the selection of candidates for the by-elections on March 6.
The group of former Prime Minister Sali Berisha invited the members of the Democratic Party in the branches of Dibër, Durrës, Lushnjë, Rrogozhinë, Shkodër and Vora to become part of the primary voting process “as an exercise of democracy, as a unifying process, for a more Democratic Party stronger, more united ”.
